MOREWOOD GARDENS
Morewood Gardens is Carnegie Mellon's largest residence area. Once a gracious apartment
complex for wealthy Pittsburghers, this building now houses Carnegie Mellon residents in
a variety of accommodations. Morewood E-Tower was added to
the building in 1961. Each floor has a student lounge; in addition, the first floor of
the complex has a television room, a quiet study lounge, computer cluster and recreation
room. Kitchens are located in B Tower, 2nd, 4th and 6th floors. Laundry facilities are
available throughout different towers.
