As a result of the expressed interest from Carnegie Mellon students,

and the work of the campus Environmental Coordinator, Barb Kviz,

we have the ability to recycle at Cathedral Mansions!

Some guidelines to follow to ensure we can keep our recycling options:

ü Office Paper: the city can ONLY pick up WHITE paper.  Place in marked blue containers.

If you want to recycle colored paper, please take it to campus.

ü Cardboard: large blue dumpster. Pizza boxes are not recyclable.

üCo-mingle: glass, steel, aluminum, and plastic marked 1 or 2 can be placed in blue plastic Giant Eagle bags OR in a clear plastic bag. They can be mixed all together and placed in the marked blue containers.

At this point, we are not able to recycle newspaper; please take your newspapers to campus for proper recycling.
