On Wednesday October 13, 2004 There will be an emergency shutdown of the campus steam system. The steam system will be down from 6:30 AM until 10:30 PM. The shutdown is needed to repair a major leak on an expansion joint in the Roberts Hall tunnel. This will affect the domestic hot water to all Campus and Housing buildings. All backup gas hot water tanks will be used during this shutdown. This shutdown will also affect the heat in all buildings with the exception of Roselawn and Spirit. The Steamfitters are going to be on campus until heat is restored to our buildings. To conserve heat please close your windows during this shut down.
