Also, we want to take the opportunity to remind you of these approaching
important deadlines.

HOUSING CANCELLATIONS:

The deadline to cancel your 2005-2006 housing room assignment without
penalty is 11:59 pm on Friday, April 8, 2005. All cancellations received
by April 8 will receive a full refund of all housing charges.

Cancellation requests received from April 9 through 11:59 pm on Friday,
April 22, will be credited only $125 of their initial $250 reservation fee
and a full refund of all other housing charges.

No exceptions will be made to these reservation fee refund dates.

located at http://www.housing.cmu.edu/roomdraw.

Please understand that on April 23, 2005, anyone still holding a 05-06
Housing License Agreement is liable for the full term of the contract. So
it is important to remember that any cancellation request made after April
22, 2005 will be granted at the discretion of the Office of Housing
Services. Students are encouraged to refrain from making other living
commitments until Housing Services has rendered its decision regarding any
request for cancellation after April 22, 2005.
