Please see enclosed letter from Bruce Taylor of CMU Telecom for information
on best process by which to respond to Comcast internet service reduction
issues if you've been effected.

There have been some cases where the internet service provided by Comcast
has had problems where only one computer can get an IP address at one time.

Telecom has been working with Comcast to try to prevent this problem from
occurring.  However, if you should happen to experience this, the fastest
way to get the problem resolved is to call Comcast for help (1-800-COMCAST)
before contacting CMU telecom (8-8500).

If the Comcast techs are unable to resolve the issue, please contact us and
we'll work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.  However, given the
nature of the cable modems, continuing resident involvement will be needed
to carry the process through to completion.

Bruce Taylor
