Subject: 2004/05 Housing License Agreement Cancellations
Dear Resident:
Residents who participated in Room Draw 2004 and are assigned campus
housing for the 2004-2005 academic year should be aware of these
important deadlines.
The deadline for cancellation of your 2004-2005 housing reservation
without penalty is 11:59 pm on Friday, April 9, 2004. Cancellations
received prior to this time will be credited the $250 reservation fee.
Cancellation requests received from April 10 through 11:59 pm on
Friday, April 16, will be credited only $125 of their initial $250
reservation fee.
Cancellation requests received after April 16, 2004 may not be
approved. If they are approved by the Housing Services Office, the
entire $250 reservation fee will be forfeited.
No exceptions will be made to these reservation fee refund dates.
Access to the online cancellation request is through the Room Draw
Resource Page located at the Housing Services Web site at
http://www.housing.cmu.edu/roomdraw/
It is important to remember that any cancellation request made after
April 16, 2004 will be granted at the discretion of the Office of
Housing Services. Students are encouraged to refrain from making
other living commitments until Housing Services has rendered its
decision regarding any request for cancellation after this date.
Residents are requested to complete an evaluation of the entire Room
Draw 2004 process, also located on the Room Draw Resource Page at
http://www.housing.cmu.edu/roomdraw/
