Dear Current Campus Resident:

The purpose of this email is to remind you of an extremely
important deadline that is rapidly approaching.

The 2004-2005 Reservation Fee deadline is 11:59 PM, Friday,
February 20, 2004. Any current resident who does not meet
this deadline will not be eligible to participate in Room
Draw 2004 and will forfeit his or her right to campus
housing next year.

To submit your $250 payment, please go to the online housing
reservation fee link at http://www.housing.cmu.edu/roomdraw/.
Your student account will reflect the $250 charge when it is
posted in July.

Once your reservation fee payment is made, you will immediately
receive your random room draw number to participate in the
selection process. If you later decide to retain your room,
your room draw number will be deactivated.

If you are still making a decision as to whether you will
retain your current room or use your random room draw number
to select a new room, Housing Services will accept room retention
forms through 6:00 pm, Tuesday, February 24. This allows all
students to make the best possible choice in selecting their
2004-2005 assignment.

Once again, however, the housing reservation fee requirement
is due by 11:59 PM, Friday, February 20.

We are also offering a variety of programs that are associated
with Room Draw 2004 and designed to assist you making housing
decisions for next year. They are as follows:

The Roommate Connection
McKenna Room, University Center
February 19, 2004
4:30 to 6:30 PM

Room Draw Information Table
Wean Commons, University Center 1st floor
February 25, 2004
9 AM to 2 PM

Oakland Community Apartments Open House
February 25, 2004
7:30 to 9 PM
You may enter any of the Oakland Community Apartments between
these times. A representative from the residential life staff
will be available to direct you.
