To: All Residents
Dear Resident:
Choosing to live off campus is a big decision. If you are considering
moving off campus, please don't miss the Off-Campus Housing Fair
scheduled for this afternoon!
When: Today, February 18, 2004
Location: Connan Room, University Center
Time: 4-6 p.m.
Join us today to discuss when's the best time to start looking, how
to access our private listings, sample leases, and other search tools.
We hope that you will take advantage of the information shared during
this session to avoid some common pitfalls.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The listings of houses and apartments available
to rent are being presented as a courtesy to the Carnegie Mellon
community.
Information specific to each list has been provided by their respective
landlords or property managers and is posted as received by the Office
of Housing Services.
The University does not guarantee the accuracy of these listings or the integrity of the landlords/property managers of these properties.
Furthermore the University does not inspect the listed properties and
does not assure health and safety code compliance or residential zoning
compliance.
The Office of Housing Services strongly encourages any individuals
seeking housing in the local community to inspect any property prior
to signing a lease or submitting a security or holding deposit.
For additional counsel regarding renting in the Pittsburgh area,
please feel free to call me at 412-268-4990 or email at
ns1d@andrew.cmu.edu
See you at the fair,
Norma Shaw
Community Housing Coordinator
PS - If you have other room draw questions, Adria Greene, Coordinator
of Assignment Operations will be there as well.
