Dear Henderson Resident,
Welcome back for spring semester. I'm happy to announce that the much awaited
wireless overlay data network is complete and operational for Henderson House.
I hope this is useful to you.
You'll see the antennae in the hallways, please do not move or tamper with these
in any way, they have been placed in their current positions to provide proper
coverage of the wireless network throughout the entire building.
If you need help setting up a wireless connection or have questions, feel free
to call the Computing Help Desk, or give our RCCs - Residential Computing
Consultants - a try. RCCs are students jointly employed by housing and
computing services to support computing in the residence halls. These students
work Monday - Thursday, 6-9 each evening and will answer questions and even make
house calls!
You can reach the RCCs at 8-3854. Leave a message and someone will get back
in touch with you.
Regards,
Tim Michael
