Dear Residents:

If you are currently occupying a room that has a vacancy or a vacancy
becomes available over winter break, you should expect that a new
resident will be assigned and will move in on January 9, 2004. To
prepare, you should clean your room and arrange your belongings to
make space for your new roommate before leaving for break.

Also, if you have recently been approved for a room change,
you will need to move to your new assignment before your departure for
winter break. If a resident does not relocate completely before leaving
campus on December 17, unfortunately, we will need to rescind the
approval to change rooms as housing demand for spring semester will not
allow for a resident to hold two spaces at spring opening.

If you have any questions about a potential vacancy within your room
please reply to this email.

You can also expect that an inspection for damages will be completed
over the break period. Every effort will be made to contact you in the
event that the vacancy is reassigned but you should also feel free to
contact Housing Services in late December or the beginning of January
to receive an update.

Regards,

Adria S. Greene
Coordinator of Assignment Operations
