Dear West Wing Residents,

At this time we are in the planning stages of possible sprinkler installation
in you building. During the last three years we have been in the process of
installing fire suppression systems in all of campus owned housing. We will
be sending this project out to bid on March 3, 2003 and if these return
favorable we will attempt to install them as early as spring break. This
process will only involve the corridors of West Wing and not your rooms. The
contractor will remove the ceilings from the 5th thru the 2nd floor corridors
and provide temporary lighting. We did successfully complete this process in
Resnik last year using this exact time line. I will be coming to your
building
in the near future to meet with residents concerning this project and an
email will be sent out with the date and time.
