Hello Residents,

Roommate Connection provides opportunities for you to connect with one or
more housing residents that share your same interests and personal
preferences with the hopes that he or she may become your future roommate,
suitemate, or housemate.

You can participate in the Roommate Connection in two ways. One way is to
list yourself or group on the Roommate Connection database, which is now
available via the Room Draw 2003 Resources link on the Housing website at
http://www.housing.cmu.edu/. There you can list your major, hobbies, and
personal preferences then perform tailored searches. Who knows, you may
find a great roommate match for yourself or a third for that awesome prime
triple in Morewood Gardens you've had your eye on.

A second way to participate would be to join the housing and residential
life staff in the Roommate Connection meet and greet on February 20, 2003
from 6:00 - 8 p.m. in the University Center's Dowd Room. There you will
have the opportunity to joke, chat and meet with other housing residents.

So, if you've just begun thinking about room draw options, you may find one
of these avenues a great ally in firming those plans up.
