Scobell Residents,
I wanted to update you on the reoccuring hot water outages in Scobell. I know
this has been a week of frustration for you. FMS steamfitters have been
responding to the emergency calls and have not been able to pinpoint the
exact problem. These intermittent problems are sometimes the most difficult
to detect.
At this time FMS steamfitters are replacing a part. This work will be
completed in approximately 2 hours. If you are currently experiencing no hot
water it is because of this work being done now. After its completion all
systems should return to normal and the hot water should then be operable. If
you should continue to have no hot water please don't hesitate to call Campus
Police and please alert your RA also.
