Dear Shady Oak Residents:

Yesterdays email indicated that there would be a temporary water shut off
for a couple of hours today. Due to the logistics of getting the new tank
here and in place the shut of time has been pushed back until some time
tomorrow morning. This of course directly affects the status of the hot
water in the building. You will still experenence, during high demand
times, limited hot water.

Dear Shady Oak Residents:

I'm writing to provide information regarding yesterdays occurrence of no
hot water at certain times through out the day.

Last semester a severe leak was found in the buildings domestic hot water
system. The existing system could not be repaired. It was necessary to
install a new and different style hot water delivery system. This
installation was a success.

It has now been determined that the holding tank for this system is
insufficient for the demand of the building, especially so during these
cold days when the demand is much greater.

To resolve the problem the building management will be installing an
additional tank tomorrow. Work will begin after 9:00am, and is expected to
be completed by mid afternoon.

There will be slight interruption in water service during day for about 2
to 3 hours while this plumbing work is being done. This will be similar to
the interruption you experienced yesterday while work was being done to
shore up a couple of emergency leaks in the buildings plumbing.

We expect that you will have more than enough hot water to meet your needs
once this work is completed. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
