Dear Campus Resident,

This note is a follow up to earlier correspondence regarding immunization
for meningitis and measles. We are in strong support of these requirements
and are notifying you again of your required compliance.

Because of the close proximity in which we all live in campus housing,
immunization against these communicable diseases is required to prevent
individual or group cases of serious illness.  Pennsylvania state law now
requires immunization against meningitis or acknowledgement of the risks of
the disease through a signed waiver.  This is in addition to our
long-standing immunization requirement for measles.  These vaccines are
available through Student Health Services.

All first-year residents not in full compliance with all immunization
requirements will be removed from housing and have their class registration
cancelled on October 1, 2002.  All upperclass residents not in full
compliance with all immunization requirements will likewise be removed from
housing with class registration cancellation on October 15, 2002.

If you are currently not in compliance, you have already or will shortly
receive additional follow-up notifications from our offices and your
housefellow or greek advisor.  If you have any questions please contact
