Dear Resnik Residents:

Welcome back!  We hope you had a great summer and are excited about the
coming year.  We would like to take the opportunity to introduce ourselves
and to update you on some exciting things that have happened this summer in
our area.

Lara Panis is the Community Advisor for both West Wing and Resnik and works
with the RA staff to plan programs and events for the buildings and helps
with many of the initiatives in the area.  Her room is in Resnik 570 so let
her know if you need anything.  Michele Grab is the Housefellow for West
Wing and Resnik and works in the Office of Dean of Student Affairs in
Warner Hall.  Michele oversees the staff and building operations and can be
helpful in a variety of ways so just let her know what you need.

****Now, on to the exciting news!  IF you lived in Resnik last year the
first thing you noticed when you moved in was that the ceiling is back!
Over the summer the fire suppression system was completed and there are now
sprinklers in each of your rooms and suites.  DO NOT hang anything from
these sprinkler heads.  They are very sensitive and will gush several
pounds of water into your room should they break.  Please be careful!

Finally, we hope you have had a chance to check out our brand-new kitchens!
In the Resnik 2nd&3rd floor lounges you will find brand new kitchens.  We
know we have had some access issues but expect that to be fixed by this
afternoon.  You should now have access to all the lounges in Resnik on your
key card (and the West Wing Rec Room on the first floor).  Let us know if
you do not have that by the end of this week.  We have stocked the kitchens
with some minimal cooking utensils and ask that you help us keep those
things in the kitchen and keep it clean.

We hope you will join us in enjoying all we've been able to do this summer
and help us have a great year.  As always, we welcome any feedback you have
for us and look forward to meeting each of you in person. We are
