The following announcement is made by Computing Services as
part of their commitment to inform campus of computing related news.

Network Outage 10/22/01 in Alumni House, Bramer House Doherty Apts, and
Frats

On Monday, October 22, 2001 between the hours of
5:00 am - 9:00 am, Computing Services will be
testing networking fibers that run from the
Alumni House to the following buildings:

Bramer House
Doherty Apts
All Fraternities

Each fiber being tested will take approximately
5 minutes and will affect networking. All networking
to and from each building (including Wireless) will
be down.  No other buildings on campus nor the feed
to the Internet will be affected.

When testing is completed, the network will be restored.
