COMING TO CARNEGIE MELLON THIS FRIDAY!
SAUCE!
The Office of Housing Services in collaboration with the Hispanic Heritage
Committee and Kappa Delta will host a concert this Friday on the Cut. The
concert starts at 5:00pm and promises to be a great start to your weekend.
In addition to GREAT MUSIC, there will be FREE FOOD, PRIZES and
INFLATABLES. That's Right Kappa Delta is bring back the INFLATABLES!
Kappa Delta is hosting a philanthropy during this event. They are
collecting a Quarter Mile of Quarters for the Children's Hospital.
So come out and have a great time!!
SAUCE
Sauce is a nine-piece band based out of Pittsburgh, PA that is dedicated to
the creation and delivery of an eclectic and original sound of music. Sauce
blends the styles of funk, rock n' roll and Latino rhythms. Sauce released
their debut CD, Looking Up, in October of 1999, at the popular Nick's Fat
City in the South Side of Pittsburgh. They have been fortunate to perform
at many venues across the region and entertain audiences side-by-side with
other local and national acts. They have appeared on Public Broadcasting
System television program ON Q, on channel 13, Pittsburgh, and WTOV Channel
9 in Steubenville, OH. They have performed at festivals, college carnivals,
and local radio events and have been heard on Pittsburgh radio stations
102.5 WDVE and 105.9 WXDX.
