Dear Residents,

Since the opening of housing for fall semester, we have received over 500
work requests to adjust furnishings in student rooms. We are significantly
behind in meeting the anticipated completion dates that have been emailed
back to work orders submitted over the web. Please note our following
priorities as we tackle this body of work and reorganize it to most
efficiently meet your requests:

Priority A - broken or missing beds, desks, desk chairs and lamps, guard
rails and bunk ladders Priority B - other missing furniture
Priority C - requests to remove existing furniture to storage
Priority D - requests to provide additional furnishings

Our current planning is to tackle furniture work orders from these areas
on the following days:

9/4 & 9/5  all Priority A work orders will be completed

9/6 & 9/7  all work orders for Morewood, Mudge, Forbes House, Doherty, and
the fraternities

9/10 & 9/11 all work orders for Resnik & West Wing, Donner, Scobell, Welch
and Hamerschlag

9/12 all work orders for Woodlawn, Roselawn, Spirit, Tech, MMA, the
Sororities, Boss and McGill

9/13 & 9/14 all work orders for off campus apartments including Shirley
and Marybelle

We continue to seek additional assistance that will allow us to shorten
these projected dates.  We will update this schedule by Friday, 9/7/01.

Please note that all requests are being reviewed currently against the
Living Space Condition Reports all residents were asked to complete at
move in.  You will be contacted if there is a problem with your request.
Most requests for additional furnishings beyond the standard set up in
each room cannot be met and will be cancelled.

This schedule supercedes any prior anticipated completion dates you may
have received for furniture requests only.
