Summer Housing 2008 Policies
NOTE: By submitting an application, you agree to the terms and conditions listed below. It is recommended that you thoroughly read and understand the information in this document. If you have any questions or need clarification, contact Housing and Dining Services at plaid@andrew.cmu.edu or 412.268.2139. The link to the Summer Housing application is at the end of this document. Please print a copy of this document for your records and a copy of the application. The application must be submitted before May 1, 2008 to Housing and Dining Services in Morewood E-Tower. RESERVATION FEE CHARGEAs part of applying for campus housing during summer 2008, the applicant agrees to a non-refundable $50 reservation fee that will be billed to their student account in May 2008. This reservation fee has been deducted from the published summer housing rates, so the reservation fee plus the summer housing rate equals the total student cost for summer housing accommodations. This fee was instituted as a result of significant abuse of making summer housing reservations and canceling them at the last minute. It is expected that individuals who apply for summer housing are expressing a genuine need for accommodations.
