Summer Housing 2009 Resources


The staff in the University Housing and Dining Services Office welcomes you into Summer Housing at Carnegie Mellon University. We look forward to being a part of your campus community experience through the summer months. The information below will guide you to the resources needed to apply for summer housing. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can assist you in anyway.

Summer Housing Information:

If you require housing because you are attending summer school or working for the summer please review our Summer Housing Policies & Procedures and then please download a Summer Housing Application.

The minimum period a student can apply for housing is one summer school session.

The application for summer housing is due to Housing & Dining Services, Morewood E-Tower before May 8, 2009.

Transitional Housing Information:

Transitional Housing Information & Application for international graduate students or undergraduate exchange students requiring housing between July 31, 2009 and August 9, 2009.

Guest Housing:

Residents requiring housing for less than one session are required to apply for guest housing with Conference and Event Services. Guest housing closes at noon, July 31, 2009

Dining Services - A summer dining plan is available by completing a Plaid-Flex E-1 plan, DineXtra only, in increments of $50. Any remaining DineXtra after September 6, 2009, does not roll over into your fall dining account.
