Fire Alarm System Test Schedule

Facilities Management Services will be conducting legally required monthly fire alarm tests according to the following schedule. This schedule allows fire alarm systems to be tested in academic and administrative buildings prior to the start of normal business hours. Building evacuation is not required during these tests. Occupants, however, are to promptly respond by evacuating whenever alarms are activated at any other time.

Fraternity Building alarm systems are tested between the hours of 10:00AM and 11:00AM on approximately the last Friday of each calendar month.

Sorority Building alarm systems are tested between the hours of 1:30PM and 2:00PM on approximately the last Friday of each calendar month.

Actual 2008 test dates are as follows:

Jan 25th
Feb 29th
Mar 28th
Apr 25th
May 23rd*
Jun 27th
Jul 25th
Aug 29th
Sep 26th
Oct 31st
Nov 14th**
Dec 5th**

**Indicates tests conducted two weeks earlier than usual due to the occurrence of University holidays during the last full week of the month.
