Dear Fairfax residents,

This morning there was a loss of hot water to all apartments in the building. This was due to a failed water line feed into the hot water storage tank. Housing was not aware of this as it was not a planned repair.

I have talked with the building management and they explained that due to the nature of the failure they did not have time to inform us as it needed to be addressed immediately.

I have been told the repair has been completed and the storage tank was in the process of being refilled. It will take awhile for the water to heat but you will have hot water at some point today.
