Dear Resident:

Although the University closes for the Thanksgiving holiday, residents are NOT required to vacate their living spaces, as all residential buildings are open.  The 5 service desks will also remain open through the holiday for your convenience and security.

Information regarding winter break will be forwarded after the Thanksgiving break.

The Housing & Dining office closes at 5 pm, Wednesday, November 23 and reopens at 8:30 am Monday, November 28, 2005.  Please direct emergencies to Campus Security at 412.268.2323.  Hours for dining locations are available at http://www.housing.cmu.edu/Dining/ThanksgivingHours.htm

During this period of low occupancy, residents are reminded to continue to take the common-sense approach to security and safety. Do not allow strangers or tailgaters into the buildings, verify that doors are locked at all times, and contact Campus Security if you are concerned for any reason.
