Dear Webster resident:
In September, Webster Apartments will no longer use metal entrance
keys to access the main apartment entrance. Access is now made
available using magnetic keyfobs.
GETTING THE NEW KEYFOB:
Keyfobs will be distributed by the Webster management August 22nd and
August 29th in the lobby from 10:00am to 4:00pm. For lost or stolen
keyfob issues, please report to the Webster management office. If
you are unable to make these times, please stop by the Webster
management office to pick up your key fob.
USING THE KEYFOB:
To use, just wave the keyfob in front of the reader. When the light
turns green, the door is unlocked.
KEEP YOUR METAL ENTRANCE KEY:
You will need to keep your metal entrance key AND your new keyfob for
the duration of the 2005/2006 year. You will still need your hard
key to get through the garage walkway or you come in through the
Dithridge Street entrance by the Deli. Webster Hall will be changing
the lock on the apartment lobby door in September 2005 so keyfobs
will be required for that door.
