Dear Campus Residents,
With the warmer weather approaching we have begun to monitor the
daily temperatures. This is often a difficult decision. During the
next ten days the weather will remain in the high to mid sixties
during the day and as low as 41 degrees at night. Our systems should
be working from an external thermostat. At this time the boilers
should be shut down unless the outside temperature drops below 58
degrees. We have found that a couple of these systems are not
functioning correctly and our building maintenance is actively
working at this time to correct this problem. We will continue to
monitor this situation daily and an e-mail will be sent when the
systems will be shut down. If you are experiencing heating issues
in your building please enter a maintenance request
<http://www.housing.cmu.edu/maint/MR.html>
and we will have someone
repair the problem. I wish to thank you in advance for you
cooperation.
Sincerely,
Louis McCauley
