Your Room Draw 2006 packet will arrive in your mailbox early next week. Please retrieve these materials and read them thoroughly as this information is vitally important to successfully participating in the Room Draw process.  The packet will include:

Proxy Form
Dining Information

YOUR FIRST IMPORTANT DEADLINE IS MARCH 1, 2006.  It's the deadline for:

Step 1 - Room Reservation Fee* and Housing License Agreement - Online
* Fee will be billed to your student account in July 2006.  No payment is due now.
Who: Any current undergraduate resident seeking university housing for next year.
Form Available: February 15 - March 1 at www.housing.cmu.edu

Step 2 - Room Retention Acknowledgement/Waiver Form - Online
Who: All who participate in room draw
Form Available: February 15 - March 1 at www.housing.cmu.edu and immediately follows Step 1 online.

Information Sessions:
As a reminder to last week's email, there will be a general information session today in the Donner Reading room from 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Connections: Scotland Yard - UC, February 21, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
General Information: Wean Commons - UC, February 23, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Oakland Community Open House: Oakland Apartments, February 27, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
General Information: New House, March 1, 6-7:30 p.m.
Community Housing Information: Wean Commons - UC, March 29, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

We recognize that Room Draw can be a complex process for some, as such, we attempt to make the written materials as comprehensive and clear as possible. If you have additional questions, please attend one of the informational sessions highlighted in the Room Draw literature or contact Housing & Dining Services and a staff person will be happy to assist you.
