MEAL PLAN CHANGE PERIOD JANUARY 30 - FEBRUARY 8, 2006
The opportunity for all meal plan holders to make changes to their spring dining plan selection begins Monday, January 30, 2006 at 8:30 a.m. and runs through February 8, 2006 at 4:59 p.m. Now that you have had two weeks of classes to establish your new daily routines and see where and when you can eat each day, we provide this opportunity for you to change the mix of your blocks (value meals) and/or DineXtra if you need more flexibility one way or the other. The process is on line this year to make it very quick, easy and convenient.
Here's how for FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS:
1. Open your web browser and type in <https://bizservweb.pc.cc.cmu.edu/changeform/> then hit "enter". This may bring up a notification box telling you that our server is not recognized as having a valid certificate. Click "Accept this certificate temporarily..." and hit "enter". This will take you to an authentication page.
2. Type in your andrew userID and password and hit "enter".
3. This will bring up specific information related to your current plan and will give you a list of all the meal plan choices you are eligible to change to from your current plan. Click the button next to the plan you want to change to and then click "Submit Change Request".
4. You will then see a confirmation page with information about the change you made. Separately, you will also receive a confirmation email sent to your andrew email account with the same information.
5. You're Done!
Have second thoughts about your selection? You can repeat steps 1-5 above as many times as you would like until 4:59 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2006. After that time, your most recent change request will be captured and will become your meal plan choice for the rest of the semester beginning with the breakfast meal period on Monday, February 13, 2006.
If you are a FIRST-YEAR STUDENT LIVING IN THE OAKLAND COMMUNITY APARTMENTS, you have the option of reducing your meal plan to the commuter meal plan if your intention is to cook most of your own meals in your apartment kitchen. You'll need to come by the housing & dining office in Morewood E Tower and complete a paper Meal Plan Change Request. Same deadline of 4:59 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 applies.
If you are an UPPERCLASS meal plan holder, there is no change process in your dining contract. However, we are allowing upperclass meal plan holders to change their plans also during the January 30 to February 8, 2006 Meal Plan Change Period to any plan of equivalent value. If you are interested in making such a change, please come by the housing & dining office in Morewood E Tower and complete a paper Meal Plan Change Request. Same deadline of 4:59 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 applies.
