Onity locking systems will be on our campus starting Tuesday February 15, 2005 to complete a scheduled upgrade. The schedule has them working from 9 A.M. until 5 P.M. and if there is a change in this schedule will send an e-mail notification to you. This upgrade will improve the performance and efficiency of our locks. The process will require a technician to visit each lock for 15 minutes. They will be installing new components to the lock and will need to access both sides of it. While your key should continue to work after the upgrade, if during this process your key fails to operate the door there will be two options available to you. The first is to come to the housing office to have your key re-encoded or you can visit the Morewood kiosk and manually do it yourself or you can call campus police and one of the Onity Technicians will respond for the repair. The housing office is open Monday thru Thursdays from 8 A.M. until 7 P.M. Below is the tentative schedule for this process and as always we appreciate you cooperation during this upgrade.
