THIS WEEK IN DINING
FEBRUARY 19 -- 25, 2007
Welcome to another week of This Week In Dining. This weekend marks a cash-out
weekend. Your two-week allocation of DineX will reset after Sunday evening
and will *not* roll over, so be sure to use as much of your balance as
possible and get the most value out of your meal plan. Stock up on beverages
and snacks from popular locations such as The Carnegie Mellon Café,
Skibo Café, The Underground, The UC Gallery, and many more! You
don't have to wait until Sunday to spend the DineX, though... Start your
cash out when it's convenient for you, but leave enough to get you through
the weekend. Don1t forget, Andy's will be open for cash-out weekend on
Sunday, February 25, from 9a -- 4p.
FREE FLAVOR SHOT
For the month of February, Skibo is offering a free flavor shot with any
coffee or espresso. Take advantage of this offer before the free flavor
shots run out next week.
HOT SPOT
This week’s hot spot is Penne’s International Market. The
BREAD BOWLS are back at Penne’s. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
for the rest of February, Penne’s will be serving bread bowls. Pick
one up today for a lunch block or $7.75. This location offers international
cuisine from around the world as well as home-cooked, traditional style
foods with an extra touch and WHOLE BODY HEALTHY recipes. Look for the
CRUNCH logo at Penne’s; everyday this location offers a vegetarian
or vegan option.
PREMIUM ENTRÉES
This week, the BENTO BOWL premium entrée is the Wok Seared Lime
Ginger Salmon. The SEQUOIA GRILLE is featuring a delicious Texas Jack
Daniels Burger Club. The CARNEGIE MELLON CAFÉ at Resnik's newest
weekly special is a Breaded Chicken Parmesan Sub. This sub is not a premium
entrée, but will run for $5.95 or at the cost of a standard block.
It's being served for lunch all week long, so make sure to give it a try.
If you are not in the mood for a premium entrée this week, all
locations have many other hot and made-to-order items on the menu. As
always, you can enjoy a premium entrée as a block with a few additional
dollars of DineXtra.
THIS WEEK AT SCHATZ
There are two specials at Schatz this week. Tuesday, February 20, is the
Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Party and will run from 5p – 8p. Wednesday,
February 21, Schatz will be serving an Ash Wednesday Fish Dinner from
5p – 8p.
