Subject: Campus Housing Health and Safety Inspections

Dear Residents,

Starting Wednesday December 20, 2006 members of the Housing Services
Facility Team will begin an inspection of all residential spaces. During
this visit Facility Coordinators will be inspecting areas for health and
safety issues as well as assessing the general conditions of all living
spaces.

All inspections will be done between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
This process will take three weeks to complete. Our anticipated completion
date is Friday January 12, 2007. Each visit will be brief and should take
15 minutes or less to complete.

All residential areas are checked by a Housing Services staff member at
least twice a year for facility conditions. If any issues are found, a
notice of the inspection will be left in the residence indicating the
item(s) to be addressed. Instructions will be included on how to follow up
with concerns. If you should have any questions please contact your
facility coordinator.
