Hello Catman residents,

We received some great news from the building owners yesterday. Installation of the new elevators will begin today. After negotiations began last summer and the elevators were ordered five months ago, they are finally in the hands of the company contracted to install them. At this time we are not sure the length of time that will be needed as there may be obstacles that are not yet known.

We have been informed that one elevator at a time will be out of service for replacement. The owners have stated that should the second elevator become not operational at anytime they will have the desk staff operate the freight elevator when needed. During the winter break if there are those planning on moving out please notify building management so that they may ensured that their staff are aware that the freight elevator will be needed.
