Good afternoon! As the weather starts to cool off, remember that you can
get warm with a coffee at any number of our stylish café facilities on
campus. Pick up your cup at the Carnegie Mellon Café, Maggie Murph Café, or
Ginger's Deli (all Roasting Starbucks), or at the Barista Café, Skibo Café,
Zebra Lounge, or Andy's if you need a coffee, espresso, or other warm drink.

KOSHER MEAL AVAILABILITY THIS MONTH
A note from our Executive Chef: There won't be any kosher meals available on
Monday, October 2, 9, or 16, 2006. These Mondays are considered religious
holidays and the Kosher Chefs will not be preparing any meals on those days.
Meals will be available at other normal hours, so please be aware that you
need to make other arrangements for the holidays. Thank you.

PREMIUM ENTREES & WHAT'S @ SCHATZ
Sequoia's premium entrée this week will be a delicious Open-Faced Delmonico
Steak Sandwich, with one additional side.
Bento Bowl will feature Honey Five Spice Glazed Ribs as the special entrée,
and another four new weekly dishes for regular block meal or cash purchases.
Monday, October 2, Schatz will offer a Premium Entrée Dinner from 5pm – 8pm.
Wednesday, October 4, stop by Schatz for the Happy Birthday Cake celebration
from 5pm – 8pm.

NEW VENUE OPENING NEXT WEEK
There is another new venue opening on campus! The WHOLE SUM CAFÉ opens
MONDAY, OCTOBER 9, in MELLON INSTITUTE, to better serve our customers off of
the main campus. The Whole Sum Café will feature deli sandwiches, salads,
soups and hot entrees prepared by Ginger's to meet your breakfast and lunch
needs. Starting next Monday, The Whole Sum Café will be open Monday through
Friday: 8am – 2pm.

The UNDERGROUND and SKIBO Coffee House
Up late and looking for a place to grab a snack and study? Check out The
Underground or Skibo Café, both are open late.
Skibo Café is open every day until 2am, while The Underground is always open
til 11pm!

The Underground and Skibo also offer a new expanded menu. Two great new
menu items from The Underground include an Italian Tuscan sandwich and the
Tuscan Chicken sandwich. Check out the menus online at

Did you know that both locations offer reservations for student or
group-sponsored events? Your organization can reserve space or the stage at
