Dear Donner and Mudge Residents,

Carnegie Mellon has the exciting opportunity to again be the site for filming for a new movie, tentatively entitled "Smart People". In fact for this movie, Carnegie Mellon may actually be part of the story line.

In recent weeks the production company has visited our campus, investigating potential locations for scene shooting. They are very interested in using a student room and a meeting space in Donner and/or Mudge A Tower.

I'm writing to notify you that housing staff will be escorting members of the production crew on a more specific investigation of these two buildings this Wednesday, September 26 during the early afternoon. You may see us in the building, and we may be entering locked spaces to look at sizes of rooms, windows, etc.. We will be sure to secure all rooms and the buildings as we leave them on Wednesday.

Your house fellows or I will be sending you more information as the details about locations and dates for filming are finalized. Please feel free to send me any questions you have also.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation and participation. This is another great opportunity for Carnegie Mellon to be in the movies!
